You should watch them, they are of great quality, but two different kind of works, really. You'll find a nice review for the latter in my dedicated hub.

I have three quotes from three different animes. The first is "This is not a hotel; so how about going home," from Sailor Moon spoken by Rei.
The second one is from Trigun. "Death and Misery love me...they brought friends."(Vash the Stampede)
The final one comes from Yu Yu Hakusho and it's from Hiei. "Kurama, There is no one who does not carry scars on his heart. If there were someone in the world like that he'd be a shallow soul."? (This quote comes from The Poltergeist Report).

Cant say there's any quote I remember that isn't here. You basically covered them up. My favorites are from Ninja Scroll, Full metal alchemists, bleach, naruto, final fantasy, ghost in a shell, darker than black, and afro samurai. You rule, anime nanet!

If I had to pick only one, that would be very hard. However, the speech from Charles di Brittania from Code Geass really made me an impression at the time.
It's a typical social darwinism statement and that kind of thinking was in fact used historicaly to justify british colonialization process, to name only one of the events where the powerful few self-idolatrize themselfs, justifying their complete subjugation of "lesser" individuals with their own perceived superiority.
What is most stunning is this kind of speech was very sucessful at that time and Hitler used it later (with more nuances of course) to sublevate Germany into war.
So this kind of ideology, with a empathic orator and the power behind him to back it up can work again to humanity disbenifit. And that is scary...
