These anime babes were not chosen randomly. They have to be cute! Some of them can even be called hot anime chicks. Most of them are main characters of really successful anime shows. So it was also taken in account the popularity of the japanese animation series in the choice of the anime girls displayed here!
I'll list them all from 1 to 20. At the beggining of this hub I cannot say for sure which one is the winner. I'll let YOU, the viewer, decide it, by a poll I'l post in the end of this hub.
The girl that gets more votes at the last day of July will get the number 1 spot! Next one in counting will become #2 and so on.
So yes, I will be rearranging all of this hub in 1 and 1/2 month and YOU will be part of it!

Alas as I wanted only to insert 20 girls I made a vow to myself the rule one anime - one girl. And Rei is still the favorit girl of Eva at least from all the forums and polls I attended when I did my research for this hub.
But maybe I will do a remake of this hub with other girls someday, because I feel there was a lot of nice choices that were left out!

no i don't really, its just that i have such a bad memory that the only character's that i remember are the ones I'm currently watching... then something comes up and i forget about anime all together as seen with my 5 week absence ^^

You have several "really" good choices in there; Faye Valentine and Kaoru Kamiya are both amazing, but I'm glad to see my number one favorite anime girl was one of your choices. My vote "definitely" is for Major Kusanagi, all around by far the best anime girl of all time, and ironically Ghost In the Shell was the very first anime I ever watched.
A couple other choices i think you should've had were Jo from Burst Angel and Misao Mackimachi from Rurouni Kenshin, but you already have Kaoru, who's almost as good, and if you didn't want more than one girl of a certain anime... Anyway, someone said earlier, "Why Orohime instead of Rukia?" I agree with that wholeheartedly. I can think of half a dozen anime girls that I like more than Orohime, at least. There are so many good ones from Bleach. However, keep in mind that, when I say an anime girl is great, I don't necessarily mean "hot", cause otherwise I'd be a pedophile for some of these. Some are just cute. Rukia, Yoruichi, Yachiru (hilarious and cute) Tatsuki (ironically at least originally Orohime's best friend, I really went with liking Tatsuki instead of Rukia, my second favorite character in Bleach and imo the most attractive girl in Bleach) Karin (also cute) Kiyone and Nel from Bleach are the best.

I meant, "I really went with liking Tatsuki instead of Orohime" not "Rukia" for that last comment, and then when I tried to correct myself, I accidentally made two of the same comment, "which was already really long". I mean, she's athletic, very fit and thin, fantastic bust, big eyes, that long black hair, adorable smile, and a well-developed believable character. Plus, she's hot as could be! Ok guys...There is a wonderful list of epic anime girls on this list. But after watching C.C in Code Geass, there just is no competition with this enigmatic, sexy anime beauty. One more thing. Yes it's fairly believable that Orihime is still the most popular, but COME ON guys. Rukia is a far better choice but in my personal opinion, Nel, Harribel, or the crowned QUEEN of hotness, yoruichi! cute hub. many of these girls have co-stars that are equally cute/interesting, like the other Sailor Scouts or Asuka and Maya from Evangelion. A lot of these girls give good fan-service but don't have such great personalities and a lot of them have annoying dub voices, Misa springs to mind here. Usagi has gradual character development but is very immature, I preferred the smarter and more mature scouts like Uranus, Neptune, Pluto, Jupiter, Mars, and Mercury. Moon and Venus and Chibi Moon were just sort of annoying. I know I'll anger a lot of anime fans but don't really care for Bleach and Naruto. They're both simplistic and childish stories with annoying characters.
